Sustainability

AEI is committed to constantly improving our sustainability practices. In 2024 we were awarded a Silver Medal from Eco Vadis for our sustainability achievements!

Tree Planting Program:

Since we were founded in 1985, AEI has committed to planting one tree for every pole we set. We planted our millionth tree in 2009 and are still planting! AEI’s owners, employees and families have forested several thousand acres, mostly with Ponderosa Pines.

Community Cleanup:

AEI hosts community cleanup days where employees and volunteers select an area in our local community, or near one of our projects, and spend the day picking up litter.

Recycling:

Whenever possible, AEI either recycles extra/scrap project materials or donates them for local use.
